Saying hi, hoping you’re all well and enjoying what life should offer. Firstly, I apologise for an absence in communication. Summer so far has been packed with life’s usual ups and downs as well as artistic activities to organise on both sides of the pond! I’ve also been in the studio, working on new pieces. This includes the one above, entitled ‘ Blowing a Kiss.’
One project I’m happy to announce I’ll participate in is the west London Borough of Ealing Art Trail (BEAT) on the 6-8th and 13-15th September. I will be exhibiting a few abstract works as part of the Phoenix Arts Group’s contribution to this years event. I’m returning to west London and exhibiting work for the first time in over 5 years!
BEAT offers a window into the world of local artists! In September 2015 a number of like-minded artists from several local Ealing-based art groups met to form the origins of BEAT. The plan was to create a local platform for local artists to showcase their work to the public through the medium of an annual Art Trail.
Local artists open their homes and studios to exhibit and sell their work. BEAT happens over the course of two weekends every year, during which a map is provided for the general public to find where they can visit around the Borough to see the exhibitions.
More info to come from me but, in the meantime, please visit the BEAT website. Enjoy the rest of your day and I wish you all a safe, happy and creative week ahead!
